Composition of coating finishing machine

The important unit devices in the PU coating finishing machine include the coater, drying device, unwinding and rewinding device, rolling flattening and cooling device.
The key unit of the PU coating finishing machine is the coater, which mainly includes blade coater, roller coater, rotary screen coater, powder coater, etc. Its basic forms include blade coater and roller coater, as shown in Figure 9-24.




The thickness of the PU coating of the scraper coater mainly depends on the position of the scraper and the thickness of the blade. If the scraper position is low and the blade edge is thin, the PU coating will be thin; vice versa, it will be thick. The thickness of the PU coating of the roller coater is related to the gap between the two rollers. If the gap is large, the PU coating will be thick; if the gap is large, the PU coating will be thin.




In the PU coating finishing machine, the blade coater and the roller coater can also be used in combination, or they can be used as a knife-roller mixing coater. Commonly used drying devices include: hot air tenter, heat setting machine, hot air roller dryer, hot air metal mesh dryer, etc. The flattening device makes the surface of PU coated fabric flat and tight. It is also possible to combine flattening and corrugation (corrugated metal roller) to produce PU coating products with different surface effects.
