The smaller the cotton bundle, the better the impurity removal and blending effect. When fully improving the opening efficiency of cotton blowing machinery, it is necessary to prevent the fragmentation of impurities and fiber damage during the opening process.
2. Cleaning: remove most of the dust, defects and some short lint in the raw cotton. This process should remove 50% to 60% of impurities in raw cotton (especially impurities with larger particles). However, while removing impurities, the loss of spinnable fibers should be reduced to save cotton.
3. Mixing: According to the cotton composition, raw cotton and chemical fibers with different properties are fully mixed to ensure uniform yarn quality and uniform coloring. The better the openness of the raw cotton, the more even the mixing will be.
4. Evening and lap formation: Make cotton rolls or chemical fiber rolls of a certain length, a certain weight and good uniformity to meet the needs of transportation and further finishing in the next process. Different opening and counting quantities are selected based on the impurity content of the raw materials and the packaging density. Raw cotton has a high impurity content and high packaging density, so it is better to open and count more; chemical fibers are looser and contain less defects, so the number to open and count can be smaller.
