1. Fire prevention
There is a flame during the singeing process, so the singeing machine should be installed separately, separated from the original cloth room and other machines by firewalls, and equipped with complete fire-fighting equipment. It is necessary to have a complete set of operating methods and take mechanical, electrical and other relevant measures to solve the problem of burned cloth caused by sudden power outage or mechanical failure. A fire baffle should be installed between the upper and lower fire ports of the double-layer singeing machine to prevent sparks from falling and causing holes in the fabric. Be vigilant at all times to prevent fire accidents.
2. Prevent smoke and dust
After the original cloth passes through the cloth feeding and bristle device, a lot of short fluff and dust will be produced. Smoke will be released during singeing, which will affect the production environment. Corresponding dust removal and air supply measures should be taken , ensuring the freshness of the air.
3. Prevent poisoning
If the CO produced during singeing and the gas used are not properly sealed and ventilated, they will be emitted and condensed in the workshop.
When CO gas accounts for 0.03% in the air, it is harmful to the human body; if it accounts for 0.2%, people will lose consciousness; if it accounts for 0.4%, it can cause death. Therefore, pipes and flues must be strictly inspected and measures taken to prevent poisoning.
4. Prevent explosions
The flammable gas and air used in the singeing machine are mixed to a certain proportion, reaching the explosion limit, and a sudden explosion will occur under certain temperature conditions. Gases with lower explosion limits are more dangerous. For example, when the concentration of gasoline gas in the air is 1.2% to 7%, an explosion will occur if the local temperature exceeds 230°C; when the concentration of coal gas in the air is 4%, local explosions will occur. An explosion will occur when the temperature reaches 500℃. Therefore, timely inspection and treatment are required to prevent explosions.
To this end, we must strictly abide by operating procedures, strengthen maintenance, ensure the normal operation of each pump, valve and various instruments, and prevent the occurrence of various accidents.
