Wool fabric wet finishing equipment-boiling machine
Boiling is to process the wool fabric in a hot water bath for a certain period of time under certain tension and pressure, so that the wool fabric can obtain a stable shape, durable finish, soft and full feel, and high elasticity, which can improve the fabric’s resistance to dyes. The adsorption capacity is a moist heat setting process. There are single-tank and double-tank cooking machines, as well as combined steaming and cooking machines.
11 single-tank cooking machine
It consists of a cooking roller, a cooking tank, a pressing roller, a pressurizing device and a worm gear lifting device. Its structure is shown in Figure 11-3. When cooking, the open-width fabric passes through the tension frame and the expansion device, and is kept flat and wound on the cooking roller. The cooking roller rotates slowly to cook the fabric, and after the cooking is completed, it is cooled and discharged from the machine. The fabric tension is controlled by adjusting the angle of the tension frame, the cooking temperature is adjusted by the steam heating control device, and the pressure of the pressing roller is realized by the pressurizing device.
The machine has a simple structure and a small floor area. After cooking, the cloth is flat, smooth, crisp and elastic. However, during the cooking process, the temperature difference between the inner and outer layers of the fabric is large, and the cooking process needs to be turned around. The production efficiency is low, and watermarks are easily produced. The single-tank baiting machine is mainly used for baiting thin woolen fabrics.
21 Double-tank wool boiling machine
As shown in Figure 11-4, its structure is similar to that of a single-tank wool boiler. It is composed of two single-tank wool boiling machines. The woolen fabric is wound back and forth on the boiling rollers in the two washing tanks, cooked repeatedly, and then cooled out of the machine.
This machine can automatically relieve pressure and automatically turn back and forth. When cooking, the temperature difference between the inner and outer layers of the fabric is small, the fabric is cooked evenly, and the quality difference of the same piece of fabric is small. After cooking, the fabric feels plump, thick, and has clear texture, making it less likely to produce watermarks. The disadvantage is that the shaping effect is worse than that of single-tank cooking.
31 Combined Cooking Machine
The Combined Cooking Machine is mainly composed of two sets of cooking tanks, cooking rollers, cranes and wrapping rollers, as shown in Figure 11-5.
During steaming, the fabric is passed through the electric edge suction device, needle plate tenter, overlapped with the wrapping cloth, and then wound together on the cooking roller, and then lifted into the cooking tank by a crane. During cooking, hot water can be circulated inside and outside through a circulation pump, or steam can be introduced to steam from the inside out. It can be boiled or steamed in hot water alone, or it can be combined with boiling and steaming. After cooking, use cold water to circulate inside and outside to cool or pump out air to cool before taking it out of the machine.
During the cooking process of this machine, the warp and weft tension of the billet is even, the fabric is cooked evenly and thoroughly, and cooled thoroughly. After steaming, the shaping effect, hand feel and elasticity are all better, and it is suitable for cooking thin and medium-thick woolen fabrics. The disadvantage is that it easily produces edge shades or watermarks.
